The short version
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not sell or share anything about you with anyone.
Analytics
Visits are counted using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records page views and referrers in aggregate. It sets no cookies and does not fingerprint or identify individual visitors.
Links in our social media posts go through helioscascade.com/go/, which adds one to a daily count for that post and sends you straight on to the page. It sets no cookies and keeps no IP address or anything else about you.
This site does not collect email addresses. There is no signup form and no mailing list. If you write to [email protected], your message is read by a person and is not added to any list.
If a mailing list is added here later, this page will say so before a single address is collected.
Links to Amazon and Goodreads
Buy and follow buttons on this site lead to Amazon and Goodreads. What happens once you are on those sites is governed by their privacy policies, not this one. If you follow the author on Amazon, Amazon holds that relationship — this site never sees who you are.
